Who We Are

Our Vision & Mission

Vision

Connecticut CASA Association envisions a state child welfare system in which every abused or neglected child is given the opportunity to thrive in a safe, and loving home.

Purpose

We are here to ensure that Connecticut’s local CASA programs have the support and resources they need to provide the highest quality best-interest advocacy for abused and neglected children before Connecticut’s Superior Courts of Juvenile Matters.

Mission

The Connecticut CASA Association promotes and empowers a statewide network of court appointed volunteer advocacy programs that recruit and train volunteer advocates to safeguard the best interests of abused and neglected children before Connecticut’s Superior Courts of Juvenile matters.

We carry out our mission by providing new program development, training, legislative, and public affairs support to Connecticut’s CASA affiliates and promoting their incredible work throughout the state.  We manage the state level relationships and disseminate training and fundraising resources so our programs can focus more of their efforts on providing direct service to children.
