Who We Are

Our Vision & Mission

Vision

As advanced by the National CASA/GAL Association, Connecticut CASA envisions:

A world where every child who has experienced abuse or neglect receives an opportunity to thrive in a safe and loving home.

Purpose

Every child who has experienced abuse or neglect needs a caring, consistent adult to advocate for their well-being.

Mission

Connecticut CASA recruits, trains, and supports volunteer court-appointed special advocates to safeguard the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Part of the national CASA network, Connecticut CASA works in the state's Superior Court for Juvenile Matters and with the Department of Children and Families.
