#ChangeAChildsStory

Thousands of children in Connecticut have been removed from their parents' care because of abuse or neglect.  They are placed in foster or other temporary care settings and can be overwhelmed by the child protection system.  CASA volunteers take the time to know and understand the needs of these children.  These dedicated volunteers provide consistency and compassion through a tumultuous, often frightening time in a child's life.  They routinely report to the Court with the child's experience, well-being, and best interests in mind.  Having a CASA by a child’s side can be the difference between despair and hope.

Your tax-deductible donation today helps provide essential training and program support so we can empower more CASA volunteers to advocate on behalf of Connecticut's most vulnerable children.
