How to Help

As a CASA volunteer, you can help change a child’s story.

CASA of Northern Connecticut seeks committed volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care.

A CASA volunteer is a trained community volunteer who is appointed by a juvenile court judge to advocate for the best interests of a child who has experienced abuse or neglect. Volunteers are required to complete 30 hours of pre-service training and submit to screening and background checks.  You must be 21 years of age or older.  (Answers to FAQs may be helpful.)

Volunteers are currently needed at CASA of Northern Connecticut for cases at New Britain Juvenile Court.  If you’re interested, please contact: gbrochu@CASAnorthCT.org or (860) 614-6933
